Creating An Account With MyEtherWallet

MyEtherWallet is a “do-it-yourself-&-secure-it-yourself” FREE Ethereum wallet that is extremely easy to use. In this guide, we will list out the steps of creating an Ethereum account with MyEtherWallet.

Step 1: Proceed to


Step 2: CHECK that you are at


Step 3: Check that you are at the “Generate Wallet” tab


Step 4: Type a strong password into the field & click “Generate Wallet”


Step 5: You will see a “Success! Your wallet has been generated” screen


Your wallet has been generated. For security purposes, we recommend that you save the keystore file (with the strong password that you keyed in Step 3) and the address ONLY! Disregard the unencrypted private key and the unencrypted JSON file.

Alternatively, you can just print out the paper wallet and ensure that there is no electronic copies of the private keys on your computer.

  1. You can’t put all this on a thumb drive that will walk me thru this while I am doing this can you.I would easy pay $20.00 buck for it.
