Step 1: Proceed to MyEtherWallet.com
Step 2: CHECK that you are at https://www.myetherwallet.com
Step 3: Check that you are at the “Generate Wallet” tab
Step 4: Type a strong password into the field & click “Generate Wallet”
Step 5: You will see a “Success! Your wallet has been generated” screen
Your wallet has been generated. For security purposes, we recommend that you save the keystore file (with the strong password that you keyed in Step 3) and the address ONLY! Disregard the unencrypted private key and the unencrypted JSON file.
Alternatively, you can just print out the paper wallet and ensure that there is no electronic copies of the private keys on your computer.
